Siemens has released the latest LOGO! Soft Comfort to version 7, added 12 new functions to simplify the user’s projects. The new functions are Astronomical Time Switch, Min/Max Function, Mean Value Generation, Analog Filter, Stopwatch, Shift Register, PI Controller, Ramp Function, Analog Multiplexer, Message Text Expanded, Arithmetic Function, and Pulse Width Modulation. Of course you can program these functions to the LOGO! hardware.

Siemens LOGO! Soft Comfort itself is a software for programming a LOGO! Hardware, a micro Programmable Logic Controller made by Siemens. With the LOGO! Soft Comfort you can crate create ladder and function block diagrams with an easy way. Just selecting, dragging and dropping functions and making the logical connections. The feature of this software is the offline simulator for both the ‘function block’ and ‘ladder’ representation. With it you can test and debug offline via your computer without connecting LOGO! hardware, providing significant savings on installation time and cost. Also you can create a professional documentation that auto generate during program editing and configuration.

For upgrading the software to version 7, first download the full version of LOGO! Soft Comfort below, install it into your computer. Use winZip or 7 Zip to extract these files.

Although arguably too late, Nokia has made sure to enter Tablet PCs market. They sure will release many tablet PCs and hybrid mobile devices.

After Nokia confirmed their development of tablet PC, this Finnish smartphone manufacturer is planning to release their tablet in 2012. They use Windows 8 operating system instead of Android OS or their operating system, Symbian. “The tablet is something important, and there will be some form factor in the future,” said the chairman of Nokia, Jorma Ollila.

Android Gadget News: Smartphone with Android operating system now is being victorious. Google also predicts that within 12 years or the year 2024, every person on this earth will have at least one Android gadget/ device in their pocket.

Chairman put forward bold predictions that Google, Eric Schmidt, in his speech at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2012 in Barcelona. According to him, the target can be achieved as more inexpensive price of the Android phone market is growing so big.

“Next year, the phone is a phone worth $ 100 a year price is still $ 400. Many people create a smartphone in the range of USD 100 to USD 150. If you arrived at the points $ 70, you will get a very big market,” he said .
